Introduction

KaComm is bound by the National Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

This Privacy Policy explains in general terms how KaComm protects your personal information in accordance with the National Privacy Principles.

The Information KaComm Collects

The types of personal information that KaComm may collect from you will depend on the circumstances of collection and on the type of product or service you ask us to supply.  Such personal information may include details such as your name, phone number, email address, credit/debit card number and expiry date and billing address.

How KaComm Collects Information

KaComm will only collect personal information where it is necessary for our business purposes or if there is a legal requirement for us to do so.

  3. information technology service providers responsible for our communication networks, software and system development and maintenance.

Transfer of Information Overseas

Kacomm will only transfer your personal information overseas where:

  1. we are satisfied that the recipient is subject to effective data protection standards;
  2. you have consented to the transfer or requested us to make it;
  3. it is impracticable for us to obtain your consent, the transfer is for your benefit and you would be likely to give consent if we were able to contact you; or
  4. the transfer is authorised by the National Privacy Principles.

Access to and Correction of Your Information

KaComm will, on request, provide you with access to the personal information we hold about you, unless there is an exception which applies under the National Privacy Principles.

Keeping Your Personal Information Up To Date

If the personal information KaComm holds about you is inaccurate, incomplete or out-of-date, please contact us and we will take reasonable steps to either correct this information, or if necessary, discuss alternative action with you.
